Ms. Vangie Gunn

Co-Conductor, Pop Ensemble
Vangie Gunn is a sought-after session singer in Southern CA who has sung on hundreds of projects for film, television, video games, and radio including: Star Wars: Rogue One, Spiderman: Homecoming, Zootopia, Evan Almighty, A Bug’s Life, Jurassic World, and Disney’s Tomorrowland. She is also featured on Disney’s Phineas & Ferb, Jimmy Neutron, and as a soloist on a variety of online video games from Blizzard, and The Call of Duty series.

She is a Commercial Music Voice Teacher who has had over 20 years of experience in private voice instruction as well as directing various choirs, small groups, and a cappella groups.

A live Jazz/R&B singer herself, she has toured with such artists as Tommy Walker, Charles Billingsley, and Gordon Goodwin’s Big Phat Band.

Mr. J. Michael O'Neal

Co-Conductor, Pop Ensemble
J. Michael O’Neal is a Los-Angeles based pianist whose sound traverses jazz, pop, and gospel with a fresh approach that blends intricate harmonies with urban-rhythmic undercurrents. His music can best be described as soulfully authentic, passionate, and imaginative.

His unique talent gave him the opportunity to work with artists like Howard McCrary, James Ingram, Melissa Manchester, Jon Gibson, Tyrone Wells, Peabo Bryson, Cece Winans, and Brian Duncan. His conceptual groove stirs listeners to RE-Imagine Music. J.Michael’s music bridges the genre gap, fusing together diverse musical elements to create unique sounds in the music industry.
